Making Impact Grenades

Impact Grenade is a craftable item. Follow the recipe in your recipe book to produce a stack. The Impact Grenade Projectile is the entity it spawns when thrown — you do not craft the projectile directly, it appears in the world after you use the grenade item.

Throwing Them

Hold the Impact Grenade and use it to throw. The projectile travels and detonates on impact rather than on a fuse, so aim at the ground near your target's feet. This makes it effective against clustered Revenants, Haunters, and Demons that bunch up around a Hollow Spawner.

Safety and Tactics

Because it detonates on contact, do not throw it at a wall directly in front of you. Back away after releasing, or throw from behind cover such as Shaded Stone Brick Walls. The blast can damage you as well as mobs.

Use grenades to soften a group before closing with the Grave Scythe or Fang Sword. Carry a few in your offhand slot arrangement so you can switch quickly between throwing and melee. Restock at your crafting table between fights, and store spare grenades near your Grave Soil arena for fast resupply.
