Troubleshoot Visual Glitches and Color Issues

Check Compatibility Settings

If colors appear washed out or oversaturated, verify that your graphics driver is up to date. Shader compatibility depends on current GPU drivers. Outdated drivers often cause color banding or incorrect lighting.

Reset to Default Sovereign 202 Preset

If you've made many adjustments and visuals look wrong, reset the shader to its default Sovereign 202 configuration. This restores the intended fantasy look and helps identify which custom settings caused problems.

Verify Brightness and Contrast

If the world appears too dark or too bright overall, check your monitor's brightness and contrast settings first—this is often the culprit. Then check in-game brightness in Minecraft's video settings.

Disable Conflicting Mods

Other visual mods (like custom lighting mods or alternative HUD mods) can conflict with shaders. Try disabling recently added mods to isolate the problem.

Test in Different Locations

Some glitches only appear in specific biomes or near certain blocks. Test in multiple areas—caves, forests, and open sky—to determine if the issue is widespread or localized.
