Adjust Lighting and Shadows for Your Playstyle
Access Shader Settings
Press the shader settings key (default: right-click on the shader name in your graphics menu or use the in-game shader options screen) to open the configuration panel. Look for lighting and shadow intensity sliders.
Customize Shadow Depth
If the fantasy shadows feel too dark for your gameplay, locate the shadow distance or shadow intensity slider. Reducing this value brightens caves and indoor spaces, making mining and exploration easier. Increasing it deepens the magical atmosphere but may require torches in more places.
Fine-Tune Color Temperature
The Sovereign 202 preset uses warm, fantasy-appropriate colors. If you find the lighting too orange or too cool, look for color temperature or white balance options. Small adjustments here significantly change the mood without breaking the fantasy aesthetic.
Save Your Configuration
Once satisfied, your changes save automatically. If you want to return to the default Sovereign 202 look, simply reset to the preset profile from the shader menu.
These adjustments let you keep the fantasy visual style while matching your performance needs and personal preference.
