How to Craft and Use the Ore Generator

Crafting the Ore Generator

The Ore Generator uses a crafting_shaped recipe. Lay out the ingredients in the crafting grid following the pattern, then take the finished Ore Generator block from the output slot.

Generating Ores

Place the Ore Generator where you want ore to appear. Mine the generated ore with the correct pickaxe tier so it drops. Collect the ore and smelt or craft it as you normally would. Keep the generator in a lit, accessible spot so you can farm it repeatedly.

Supporting Your Ore Supply

Ore generation works best when you already have a base of basic materials. Craft a Cobblestone Generator and Stone Generator first so you have building blocks and tool material while you gather ore. The Redstone Generator and Quartz Generator are separate blocks in this mod, so craft those individually if you need redstone dust or quartz rather than ore. Store generated ore in a chest next to the generator so your inventory does not fill up while mining. If you need fuel for smelting, the Dye Generator, Dust Generator, and other generator blocks can be crafted with their own crafting_shaped recipes to round out your resource setup.
