Powering Machines with Generators, Dynamos and Cables

Generate Power

Place a Generator to produce electrical power, or use a Dynamo where rotational or mechanical power is needed. A Blast Furnace can be part of your processing line for smelting tasks. Store the output in a Battery so machines keep running when generation pauses.

Run Cables Safely

Connect generators and machines with Cable. Where a cable passes through a wall or needs insulation, place a Cable Insulator at that point. Route cables from the Generator or Dynamo to your Backmix Reactor, Oil Mill, Fluid Extractor, and Gas Station so each machine receives power.

Move Fluids Between Machines

Use Fluid Pipe to move liquids such as Canola Oil, Methanol, Canola Methanol Mix, Bio Diesel, and Glycerin between the Fluid Extractor, Backmix Reactor, Oil Mill, and Gas Station. Store bulk liquids in a Tank or Split Tank, and carry smaller amounts in a Canister or the appropriate bucket such as Canola Oil Bucket, Canola Methanol Mix Bucket, Bio Diesel Bucket, or Glycerin Bucket. Containers like Black Container, Blue Container, Cyan Container, Gray Container, Green Container, and Brown Container hold solid cargo, and Black Tank Container or Blue Tank Container hold liquid cargo for transport. Keep cables and pipes short and direct to reduce clutter around the Car Workshop.
