How to Fill and Use a Gas Station

Place and Connect

Craft a Gas Station and place it where vehicles can reach it. Connect Fluid Pipe from a Tank or Split Tank holding Bio Diesel or Methanol into the Gas Station. If you are producing fuel on site, run the output of your Backmix Reactor and Blast Furnace chain into the same Tank. Use Fluid Extractor to pull from the world if needed.

Load Fuel

Pour Bio Diesel Buckets, Canola Oil Buckets, Canola Methanol Mix Buckets, or Glycerin Buckets into the Tank feeding the station. The Gas Station draws from the Tank and dispenses into Canisters or directly into a parked vehicle. Keep the Tank topped up so the station never runs dry mid-trip.

Use the Station

Drive the car onto the station pad and interact to refuel. Alternatively, fill a Canister at the station and carry it to the car. Place Car Pressure Plate nearby to detect arrivals, and use Parking or No Parking signs on a Sign Post to mark the bay. Guard Rail and Asphalt keep the approach clean. For remote routes, carry a spare Canister in a Container so you can refuel away from base.
