How to Drive and Control Your Car

Enter and Start

Approach the assembled vehicle and interact to enter. The engine (3 Cylinder Engine or 6 Cylinder Engine) starts when fuel is present in the Canister slot and the Battery has charge. If nothing happens, check that the Canister is not empty and the Battery is charged via Generator or Dynamo through Cable.

Steering and Movement

Use standard movement keys to accelerate, brake, and reverse. Steering follows your look direction. Big Wheel improves handling on rough ground; standard wheels suit paved routes. Drive on Asphalt, Asphalt Slab, and Asphalt Slope for speed. Use Lower Asphalt Slope (Flat) and Upper Asphalt Slope (Flat) to build ramps and transitions.

Road Markings and Triggers

Lay Arrow, Arrow Left, Arrow Right, Arrow Left Diagonal, Arrow Right Diagonal, Arrow Left Right, Long Arrow variants, Corner Line, Double Line, End Line, End Double Line, End Side Line, Middle Line, Middle Double Line, Middle Edge Line, Middle Edge Double Line, Middle Side Line, Start Side Line, Long Line, Long Side Line, Long Corner Side Line, Cross, Zebras, Parking, No Parking, Guard Rail, and Sign Post with Sign to build proper roads. Car Pressure Plate triggers redstone when driven over — wire it to doors, lights, or gates.
