Craft the workshop and parts

Place a Car Workshop to assemble vehicles. Craft Car Workshop Parts and combine them with an Engine Piston, Iron Stick, and a Hammer to produce a 3 Cylinder Engine or 6 Cylinder Engine. Build a body from a wood type — for example Oak Wood Body, Acacia Wood Body, or Big Oak Wood Body for larger frames. Add a matching bumper (Oak Wood Bumper, etc.) and a License Plate Holder such as Iron License Plate Holder or Gold License Plate Holder.

Assemble and roll out

Fit a Battery and a set of Wheels (Big Wheel for larger bodies) into the workshop alongside the engine and body. Attach a License Plate to the holder. Once assembled, the car spawns as a drivable entity. Place Asphalt, Asphalt Slab, or Asphalt Slope to build roads; cars move faster on Asphalt than on dirt or grass. Use Guard Rail along road edges to keep vehicles contained, and a Car Pressure Plate to trigger redstone when a car drives over it. For fuel, see the fuel guide — a car without fuel will not move.
