Customize Sky and Cloud Appearance
Access Sky and Atmosphere Settings
Open Shader Options and locate controls for sky color, cloud density, and atmospheric effects. ULS Shaders allows you to adjust how clouds render and how the sky transitions between day and night.
Modify Cloud Rendering
Adjust cloud thickness, brightness, and coverage. Thicker clouds create more dramatic skies and can reduce glare during midday. You can also control whether clouds cast shadows on the ground below.
Customize Sky Gradients and Colors
Many shader packs let you tweak the color of the sky at different times—sunrise, noon, sunset, and night. Experiment with these to match your preferred aesthetic. Increase saturation for vibrant sunsets, or reduce it for a softer look. Test changes at different times of day by using the /time command to cycle through day-night quickly without waiting in-game.
