Adjust Lighting Intensity and Color Saturation
Access Shader Settings
Open the Shader Options menu while in-game by pressing the designated key (usually found in your Controls settings under Iris Shaders). This opens a panel where you can fine-tune how bright and colorful your world appears.
Modify Brightness and Color
Look for sliders controlling:
- Brightness/Exposure: Increase to make darker areas more visible, or decrease if the world feels washed out
- Saturation: Boost color vibrancy in biomes, or reduce it for a more muted, realistic look
- Contrast: Adjust the difference between light and shadow areas
Apply and Test
Changes apply in real-time. Walk through different biomes and times of day to see how your adjustments affect caves, forests, and open sky. Return to the menu to refine further. Remember that time of day affects perceived brightness—test at both noon and dusk to ensure balanced settings across your gameplay.
