Using Columns, Pillars, and Cut Amethyst for Detail Work

Column Blocks

The mod adds Blackstone Column and Deepslate Column. These are vertical accent blocks suited to pillars, doorframes, and supports. Place them in stacks to suggest structural columns in a hall, or use a single column as a door surround.

Copper Pillars

Copper Pillar and Exposed Copper Pillar give you two oxidation stages of the same pillar shape. Build a pillar from Copper Pillar, then let some sections weather into Exposed Copper Pillar, or place them side by side deliberately for a two-tone effect. Because both blocks exist as separate items, you control the mix directly rather than waiting on random oxidation.

Cut Amethyst

Cut Amethyst is a decorative variant of amethyst. Use it as an inlay in floors, a highlight inside columns, or a small accent block above doorways. It pairs well with Deepslate Column and Blackstone Column for a dark, cool-toned palette.

Calcite and Smooth Basalt

Calcite Slab, Calcite Stairs, and Calcite Wall extend calcite into a full building set. Chiseled Smooth Basalt Bricks provide a patterned basalt face. Compacted Dripstone is another solid accent block for cave-themed interiors.

Putting It Together

Use columns as the vertical rhythm, slabs and stairs as the horizontal trim, and Cut Amethyst or Compacted Dripstone as the single bright or textured accent. Keep accents to one or two blocks per room so the columns stay the focus.
