How to Find and Use Silt in the Twigs Mod

Locating Silt

Silt generates as colored terrain blocks in the world. You will encounter Blue Packed Silt, Brown Packed Silt, Cyan Packed Silt, Gray Packed Silt, Green Packed Silt, Light Blue Packed Silt, Light Gray Packed Silt, Lime Packed Silt, and Magenta Packed Silt while exploring. Each color variant is a distinct block, so mine the specific color you want rather than expecting one universal silt type.

Processing Silt Into Building Blocks

Once you have a packed silt color, you can process it into a family of decorative blocks. Each color has its own set:

• Shingles (e.g. Blue Silt Shingles)
• Shingle Slabs (e.g. Blue Silt Shingle Slab)
• Shingle Stairs (e.g. Blue Silt Shingle Stairs)
• Shingle Walls (e.g. Blue Silt Shingle Wall)
• Silt Pots (e.g. Blue Silt Pot)

Use a stonecutter to convert packed silt into shingles, slabs, stairs, and walls efficiently. The Silt Pot is a separate decorative block crafted from the same color family. Chiseled Silt Bricks and Cracked Silt Bricks are also available for more textured builds.

Building Tips

Combine multiple silt colors for patterned floors and walls. Shingle stairs and walls match their parent shingles, so you can build cohesive structures in a single color or mix colors for contrast. Silt Pots work well as accent decorations alongside shingle walls.
