Crafting Cobblestone Bricks

Cobblestone Bricks are a refined version of plain cobblestone. Craft them from cobblestone using a crafting recipe, then cut them in a stonecutter into the full set:

• Cobblestone Bricks Slab
• Cobblestone Brick Stairs
• Cobblestone Bricks Wall

This gives you a complete building set from a material you already have in bulk.

Making Cracked Cobblestone Bricks

Cracked Cobblestone Bricks are produced by smelting Cobblestone Bricks. Smelting is one of the recipe types the mod uses, so a furnace or blast furnace turns your bricks into the cracked version. Use cracked bricks sparingly as accents — corners, lintels, or patches in a wall — so the texture variation reads as age rather than noise.

Related Brick Sets

The same logic applies to other brick families in the mod: Chiseled Bricks, Cracked Bricks, Gravel Bricks (with Gravel Brick Slab, Gravel Brick Stairs, and Gravel Brick Wall), and Chiseled Silt Bricks. Gravel Bricks give a rougher, more granular look than cobblestone bricks, while Chiseled Bricks provide a patterned face for feature walls.

Building Tips

Combine Cobblestone Bricks with Cobblestone Brick Stairs for arches and Cobblestone Bricks Wall for railings. Swap in Cracked Cobblestone Bricks at random intervals along a long wall to break up repetition.
