How to Use Pearls, Pearl Blocks, and the Cauldron

Pearl States

The mod uses four pearl states: Empty Pearl, Pearl, Blessed Pearl, and Cursed Pearl. Empty Pearl is the base. Pearl is the charged form. Blessed Pearl and Cursed Pearl are the aligned forms that feed the light and dark wand lines respectively. Convert between states at the Turtlemancer Cauldron.

Storing Pearls

Pearl Block is the compact storage block for pearls. Craft Pearl Blocks when your chests overflow, and break them back down when you need loose pearls for the Turtlemancer Altar. Keep one Pearl Block near the Altar as a visual marker for your work area.

Running the Cauldron

Place the Turtlemancer Cauldron next to the Altar. Fill it, add Empty Pearl, and process into the state you need. Do not mix Blessed Pearl and Cursed Pearl in the same batch unless you want to redo the work.

Feeding the Altar

Move finished pearls from the Cauldron to the Altar. The Altar consumes them for wands, armor, and the higher-tier items like the §2Shell of Encapsulation and §5Bewitched Shell Necklace. Keep a steady loop: mine bedrock for fragments, cook oysters for food, and cycle pearls through the Cauldron.
