How to Make Stews and Soups with Turtle Bowl

The Bowl First

The Turtle Bowl is the container that ties the mod's food items together. Craft it before you cook anything, because Beetroot Soup, Mushroom Stew, Rabbit Stew, and Suspicious Stew all need a bowl to hold them.

Cooking the Stews

Once you have the Turtle Bowl, prepare the standard stews: Beetroot Soup, Mushroom Stew, Rabbit Stew, and Suspicious Stew. These use the smelting and crafting recipe types present in the mod. Keep a stack of bowls ready so you can batch-cook instead of crafting one at a time.

Oysters and Pearl Food

Cooked Oyster is the mod's seafood option. Cook oysters the same way you would cook any raw food, then eat them for a quick meal while mining bedrock for Fragment of Bedrock.

Stocking for Expeditions

Before a long trip to mine bedrock or explore for pearls, fill your inventory with a mix of Beetroot Soup, Mushroom Stew, Rabbit Stew, Suspicious Stew, and Cooked Oyster. Suspicious Stew is the wildcard — it can grant effects, so test it at base before relying on it underground. Carry the Turtle Bowl so you always have a container for the next batch.
