How to Get and Use Fragment of Bedrock

Fragment of Bedrock and Little Fragment of Bedrock are the gating materials for the top Turtlemancer recipes. The Bedrock Pickaxe is the tool that produces them. Craft the Bedrock Pickaxe before you attempt any bedrock-tier gear, because no other registered tool in the mod breaks bedrock.

Sizing Your Fragments

Little Fragment of Bedrock is the smaller unit. Fragment of Bedrock is the larger unit. Recipes that need precision use the little fragment; recipes that need bulk use the full fragment. Check both before you commit materials, since converting between them is not always reversible.

What to Spend Them On

Fragments feed the Turtlemancer Altar recipes for the advanced wands and the Turtlemancer armor set: Turtlemancer's Helmet, Turtlemancer's Chestplate, Turtlemancer's Leggings, and Turtlemancer's Boots. The magmatic variants — Magmatic Turtlemancer's Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots — also consume fragments at the higher tier.

Mine bedrock in a controlled area so you do not open holes under your base. Store fragments in a dedicated chest next to the Altar so you never have to run back mid-craft.
