Moving Items with Extractors and Loaders

Pulling Items Out

Place an Extractor against the inventory you want to empty. The Extractor pulls items from that inventory into the tube network. Connect a Tube or colored tube to the Extractor's output side, then run the line to where the items should go.

Pushing Items In

Place a Loader against the destination inventory. The Loader accepts items from the tube network and inserts them into the block it faces. A basic setup is: source inventory → Extractor → tubes → Loader → destination inventory.

Use Tubing Pliers to shape the connections so the Extractor only feeds the line you want. If a tube touches the wrong block, pliers let you break that link.

Routing Between Multiple Destinations

When one line must serve several inventories, add a Distributor. It splits incoming items across the connected outputs. Combine a Distributor with colored tubes to keep each branch separate. If you need to merge two lines back into one, use a Shunt.

Keep each Extractor pointed at exactly one source and each Loader at exactly one destination. Build the network one segment at a time and test with a few items before scaling up.
