How to Craft and Use the Air Compressor

The Air Compressor is the core machine for filling diving gear and powering air-based tools. Place it on solid ground and give it a redstone signal or right-click it to activate.

Filling Tanks

Hold a filled air tank or diving helmet and right-click the Air Compressor to top it up. The compressor consumes fuel while running, so keep a stock of burnable items nearby. Without air, underwater exploration ends quickly — always refill before a dive.

Placement Tips

Put the Air Compressor near water access so you can gear up at the shoreline. Surround it with Mahogany Planks or Palm Planks for a dock-style base. If you plan long underwater trips, build a second compressor on a floating platform using Bamboo Boardwalk so you can resupply mid-expedition.

Powering Other Tools

Some air-driven items, like the Blow Gun, benefit from being charged at the compressor. Keep the machine loaded and check its internal buffer before heading out. A drained compressor mid-dive means swimming back empty-handed.

Combine the Air Compressor with a Drink Mixer station for a full beach base: one handles air, the other handles Cocktails and refreshment. Both fit neatly on a Mahogany Boardwalk deck.
