Smelting Troll Meat: Furnace Setup and Output

Input and Output

The smelting recipe takes Troll Meat and produces Grilled Troll Meat. Troll Meat goes in the top slot of the furnace; the finished Grilled Troll Meat appears in the output slot on the right.

Fuel and Timing

Add any furnace fuel to the bottom slot to start the process. The furnace consumes one fuel unit per operation according to that fuel's burn time. The progress arrow fills while the current Troll Meat is smelting, and the flame icon shows remaining fuel. When the arrow completes, the Grilled Troll Meat is ready to pull out.

Scaling the Setup

Because the recipe is a standard smelting operation, you can run several furnaces side by side, each loaded with Troll Meat and fuel, to process a larger batch in parallel. Feed each furnace from its own Troll Meat stack and top up fuel as the flame icon shrinks.

Practical Notes

Do not put Grilled Troll Meat back into the input slot expecting a second transformation — the only smelting recipe present converts Troll Meat to Grilled Troll Meat, and Grilled Troll Meat is the end product. Keep raw and cooked stacks separate so you do not accidentally feed finished food back into the furnace.
