How to Make Candy From Goodie Bags

Opening Bags

Every Goodie Bag is a loot container. Kill the matching mob, pick up the bag, then use it to roll candy. The candy items you can receive are Chocolate Covered Spider Eye, Eyece Cream, Fizzlers, Membrane Butter Cups, Pearl Pop, Screambursts, Slime Gum, and Sour Patch Zombies. Because each bag pulls from the same candy pool, opening any bag type gives you a chance at any of these treats.

Which Bags to Open First

Open the bags whose mobs are easiest for you to farm. Zombie, Skeleton, Creeper and Spider Goodie Bags are simple to stockpile from a dark-room farm, so open those in bulk to build a candy supply. Save rarer bags — Blaze, Ghast, Guardian, Phantom, Enderman and Drowned Goodie Bags — until you have several, then open them together. Slime Goodie Bags are worth opening whenever you pass a swamp at night.

Sorting Your Candy

Keep the candies separate from your building blocks. Chocolate Covered Spider Eye, Eyece Cream, Fizzlers, Membrane Butter Cups, Pearl Pop, Screambursts, Slime Gum and Sour Patch Zombies are all edible trick-or-treat items. Store them in a dedicated chest so you can see which candies you are short on, then target the mobs that drop the bags you still need to open.
