Complete Trial Altar Challenges

Collect Monster Trophies

As you progress through the dungeon, gather trophies from defeated mobs. These trophies are currency for the trial altars located in side chambers throughout the catacombs.

Activate Timed Battle Waves

Bring your collected trophies to any of the three trial altars and offer them as sacrifices. Each altar activates a timed combat challenge where waves of enemies spawn in rapid succession. These optional encounters test your combat skills and reward you with additional loot and experience.

Strategy for Wave Challenges

Timed trials spawn coordinated skeleton squads similar to main dungeon encounters. Use the arena space to kite enemies and manage multiple threats. Skeleton Archers are especially dangerous in open trial chambers—use pillars for cover. Complete waves within the time limit to maximize rewards. Trial rooms prevent item loss, so you can experiment with aggressive tactics without fear of losing gear on death.
