Reaching Traveller's Boots MK5

The Final Transform

Traveller's Boots MK5 is the top of the progression and the last smithing_transform in the chain. Bring your Traveller's Boots MK4 to a smithing table.

1. Open the smithing table.

2. Place Traveller's Boots MK4 in the base slot.

3. Add the MK5 upgrade ingredient.

4. Add the MK5 addition ingredient.

5. Take Traveller's Boots MK5 from the output slot.

MK4 is consumed in the transform. Equip MK5.

If the Output Is Empty

An empty output means one of three things: the base slot does not contain MK4, an upgrade ingredient is missing, or an addition ingredient is missing. Check each slot against the MK5 recipe before adding more items. Do not substitute a lower tier as the base — only MK4 transforms into MK5.

After MK5

MK5 has no further tier above it. There is no smithing_transform recipe that consumes MK5, and no shaped crafting recipe produces it. Once equipped, MK5 is your final pair. If you want a second MK5, you must run the entire chain again from a freshly crafted Traveller's Boots MK1 through MK2, MK3, MK4, and finally MK5.
