Using the Rail Worker's Bench to Craft Rails and Modules

What the bench makes

The Rail Worker's Bench is the crafting station for this mod's rail and module parts. Ten recipes run through it, covering the specialised rails and vehicle modules that normal crafting cannot produce. Place the bench, then open it to see the available recipes.

Crafting rails

Use the bench to produce Switch Rail, Wye Switch Rail, Diamond Crossing Rail, Holding Rail, Timed Holding Rail, Elevator Switch Rail, Scaffolding Rail, and Bumper Rail. These control how trains move: switches redirect them, crossings let lines intersect, holding rails park them, and bumper rails stop them at a dead end. Craft the Elevator Switch Support alongside the Elevator Switch Rail so the elevator track has something to sit on.

Crafting modules and vehicles

Build the Solid Fuel Engine, Booster Engine, and the Modular Minecart and Modular Boat at the bench, then fit them together with the Module Configurator. Use the bench to make the Module Configurator itself if you do not have one. Keep Iron Rail and Gold Rail in stock for the main line, and use the Rail Breaker to pick up rails you have already placed so you can reuse them when you reroute.
