Hatch a Cherry Sniffer in a Cherry Grove
Finding a Cherry Grove
Cherry groves are relatively rare biomes, typically found in temperate regions of your world. Look for distinctive pink cherry blossom trees and light pink grass. Use the /locate biome cherry_grove command if you're having trouble finding one, or explore systematically from your base.
Hatching Your Sniffer Egg
Once you've located a cherry grove, bring a sniffer egg with you. Place it on any block within the biome—the egg will begin to hatch as long as you remain nearby. The hatching process takes time, so stay in the area or set up a temporary base.
When the sniffer fully hatches, it will automatically receive the Cherry Sniffer texture, featuring a beautiful pink petal coat that matches the surrounding blossoms. The transformation is purely visual and doesn't affect the sniffer's behavior or stats.
Keeping Your Cherry Sniffer
Once hatched, your Cherry Sniffer will retain its appearance permanently, even if you travel to other biomes. You can safely bring it home and display it alongside sniffers from other environments.
