Locating Nether Forests

Travel to the Nether and search for either crimson or warped forests. Crimson forests feature red vegetation and nether wart blocks, while warped forests display blue and teal foliage. Use /locate biome crimson_forest or /locate biome warped_forest to pinpoint these biomes quickly.

Preparing for Nether Conditions

Bring fire resistance potions, as Nether biomes are dangerous. Set up a safe hatching area away from hostile mobs and lava. You'll need to stay nearby while the egg hatches, so consider building a small shelter.

Hatching Your Nether Sniffer

Place your sniffer egg on a safe block within the forest biome. The egg will hatch into either a Crimson Sniffer (bright red vines) or Warped Sniffer (blue nether vegetation), depending on which forest type you're in. These variants are among the most visually striking in the pack.

Safe Transport Home

Once hatched, lead your Nether sniffer back through a portal to the Overworld. It will keep its unique appearance permanently.
