Compressing Torcherino, Lanterino, and Jack o'Lanterino

The compression chain

Every base block in the mod follows the same three-tier progression: base, Compressed, and Double Compressed. This applies to Torcherino, Lanterino, and Jack o'Lanterino.

• Torcherino → Compressed Torcherino → Double Compressed Torcherino
• Lanterino → Compressed Lanterino → Double Compressed Lanterino
• Jack o'Lanterino → Compressed Jack o'Lanterino → Double Compressed Jack o'Lanterino

How to craft each tier

1. Craft the base block first (for example, a Torcherino).

2. Combine multiple base blocks in the Compressed recipe to get the Compressed version.

3. Combine multiple Compressed blocks in the Double Compressed recipe to get the Double Compressed version.

Because the recipes are crafting_shapeless and crafting_shaped types, you can arrange ingredients flexibly where the recipe allows. Build up a stock of base blocks before compressing so you do not run short mid-craft.

Practical use

Compression lets you store or transport many blocks as a single item, and Double Compressed blocks represent the densest form. If you later need the base block back, keep the tiers separate so you can tell them apart in your inventory.
