How to Craft The One Probe

Crafting the Base Item

The One Probe is the core item that reads block and entity information. You craft it with a shaped recipe, so arrange the ingredients in a crafting grid in the exact pattern the recipe shows. Once crafted, The One Probe sits in your inventory and works passively — you do not need to hold it in your hand for it to function.

Using It

With The One Probe in your inventory, look at a block or entity and the probe overlay appears on your screen showing what you are targeting. This is the foundation for every other probe item in the mod, so craft this first before making any helmet variants.

Where It Leads

The One Probe is the ingredient path toward the helmet versions. The mod includes three probe helmets — Diamond Helmet with Probe, Golden Helmet with Probe, and Iron Helmet with Probe — each made through the theoneprobe:probe_helmet recipe type. If you want hands-free probing while wearing armor, craft The One Probe first, then use it in the helmet recipe for the material you prefer. The One Probe (Bauble) is a separate variant for bauble slots. Keep The One Probe itself if you want the overlay without occupying a helmet slot.
