Troubleshoot Storage Blocks Not Displaying Textures Correctly

Verify Resource Pack is Active

Check that Tom's Create Style Resource Pack is enabled in your resource pack list. It should appear above the default textures in your resource pack menu.

Check Block Placement

1. Ensure you're looking at actual storage blocks from Tom's Simple Storage mod, not other storage mods

2. Confirm the blocks are fully loaded (not in unloaded chunks)

3. Try breaking and replacing a block to refresh its texture

Refresh Your Game

Press F3 + T (or Ctrl + Shift + Esc on some systems) to reload textures without restarting. This often fixes display issues after enabling the pack.

Verify Mod Compatibility

Make sure Tom's Simple Storage mod itself is installed and working. The resource pack only repaints existing blocks—it doesn't add functionality. If storage blocks don't appear at all, the mod may not be loaded.

Check for Conflicts

If you're using multiple resource packs, ensure Tom's Create Style is positioned correctly in your load order (usually above conflicting packs). Disable other packs temporarily to test.
