Set Up a Matching Storage Room with Create Aesthetics
Plan Your Layout
Before placing blocks, decide where your storage terminals, cables, and connectors will go. Sketch out how items will flow from your machines to storage, similar to how you'd route Create pipes and shafts.
Place and Connect Storage Components
1. Position your storage terminal in a central, accessible location
2. Run cables from the terminal to your storage blocks, routing them along walls or through cable channels
3. Use connectors to link multiple storage blocks together
4. Arrange storage blocks in organized rows or columns
Integrate with Your Factory
Place your storage room adjacent to or within your Create factory. The mechanical brass and copper textures on terminals and cables will now visually match your pipes, shafts, and mechanical components. Consider building the room with grey concrete, dark wood, or industrial blocks to complement the storage aesthetics.
Test Item Flow
Run a quick test by inserting items into a storage block and retrieving them from the terminal to ensure everything functions correctly before fully decorating around it.
