Crafting the Wooden Pole First

Every pole in the mod is made through a shaped crafting recipe. Start with the Wooden Pole, since it is the simplest of the four and gives you a feel for the recipe shape. Place wooden planks in a vertical line in a crafting table to produce a Wooden Pole. Once you have one, you can use it as a reference for how the other poles are laid out.

Upgrading to Iron, Redstone, and Glass Poles

Each remaining pole follows the same vertical shaped pattern, swapping the core material:

• Iron Pole — use iron ingots in the vertical column.
• Redstone Pole — use redstone dust in the vertical column.
• Glass Pole — use glass blocks in the vertical column.

All four recipes are crafting_shaped, so the arrangement of ingredients in the grid matters. Keep the stack vertical and centered; do not spread the materials into a square or an L shape, or the recipe will not match.

What to Do With Your Poles

Once crafted, the poles are placeable blocks. Use the Wooden Pole for cheap scaffolding, the Iron Pole where you want a sturdier look, the Redstone Pole where you want a redstone-themed accent, and the Glass Pole where you want a transparent vertical element. Because all four share the same shape, you can swap them freely in a build without changing the footprint.
