Set Up TNT Damage for PvP Combat

Enable Cheats and Open Chat

Make sure your world has cheats enabled. Open the chat window by pressing T (or your configured chat key).

Apply Your Desired Damage Level

Type the command:

`

/trigger tnt_damage set <value>

`

Replace <value> with your chosen percentage. Use 100 for standard Minecraft TNT damage, 200 to double it, or 50 to halve it. For competitive PvP, many servers use values between 150–250 to make TNT a meaningful threat without instant kills.

Test the Setting

Press Enter to apply the command immediately—no restart needed. Place a TNT block near a test target (mob or armor stand) and ignite it. Watch the damage numbers to confirm the new blast strength matches your intention.

Adjust as Needed

If the damage feels too high or too low, simply run the command again with a different value. The change takes effect instantly on all future TNT explosions. This makes it easy to fine-tune difficulty during gameplay without stopping the action.
