Create a Custom Minigame Arena with Variable TNT Difficulty

Design Your Arena Layout

Build your minigame space with clear zones for players and TNT placement. Use obsidian or blast-resistant blocks for arena walls to prevent accidental destruction. Leave open areas where TNT explosions can damage players safely.

Set Difficulty Tiers

Use the trigger command to establish different damage levels for each round or game mode:

`

/trigger tnt_damage set <value>

`

Start new players at 100 (standard damage), intermediate players at 150, and expert rounds at 200 or higher. Announce the current setting to all participants before each round begins.

Automate Difficulty Changes

Use command blocks or functions to change TNT damage automatically between rounds. This removes the need for manual adjustment and keeps gameplay smooth. Link the damage change to a timer or scoreboard condition so transitions happen seamlessly.

Test Before Play

Run a full test round with your chosen damage value. Ignite TNT in different arena positions and verify that players take expected damage. Adjust the value if certain spots feel too dangerous or if TNT becomes irrelevant to strategy.
