Using the Lasso with Mob Farms

What the Lasso Does

The Lasso is one of the items in the mod and is used together with the mob farm blocks: Wooden Mob Farm, Stone Mob Farm, Iron Mob Farm, Golden Mob Farm, Diamond Mob Farm, Emerald Mob Farm, Inferno Mob Farm, and Ultimate Mob Farm. Craft the Lasso using its shaped recipe, then keep it in your hotbar while you work around your farm.

Moving Mobs Between Farms

When you want to relocate a mob from one farm to another, use the Lasso on the mob and then release it at the destination. This lets you populate a newly placed farm without waiting for natural spawns. Place the target mob farm block first, confirm it is in a loaded chunk, then bring the mob over with the Lasso.

If you are upgrading from a lower tier to a higher one, move your mobs with the Lasso before breaking the old block so nothing is lost. The Lasso works with any of the eight mob farm tiers, so the same tool covers your whole progression from the Wooden Mob Farm up to the Ultimate Mob Farm. Keep a Lasso on hand whenever you rearrange your setup.
