Upgrading Mob Farms from Wooden to Ultimate

The Full Progression Order

The mob farm blocks form a clear upgrade chain: Wooden Mob Farm, Stone Mob Farm, Iron Mob Farm, Golden Mob Farm, Diamond Mob Farm, Emerald Mob Farm, Inferno Mob Farm, Ultimate Mob Farm. Each one is crafted with its own shaped recipe, so the recipe book is your reference for every step. There are no shortcuts — you craft each tier as a separate block.

Planning Your Upgrades

Work through the tiers in order so you always have a working farm while you gather materials for the next. Place the new block only after you have crafted it, then remove the old one. Because every tier uses a shaped recipe, lay the ingredients out exactly as the recipe book shows; a misplaced item wastes the whole craft.

The Ultimate Mob Farm sits at the top of the chain and is the final block to craft. The Inferno Mob Farm comes just before it, so plan your resource gathering around those two end goals. If you need to relocate mobs between farms, use the Lasso. Keep each farm in a loaded area so it continues to run while you work on the next tier.
