How to Craft a Wooden Mob Farm

Gather the Starting Materials

A Wooden Mob Farm is the entry point of the mob farm progression. You need a crafting table and the basic wood-tier materials the shaped recipe calls for. Open the crafting grid and arrange the ingredients in the pattern shown in the recipe book for the Wooden Mob Farm. Once crafted, place the block down where you want mobs to spawn.

Move Up the Tiers

Every mob farm block in the mod is made with a shaped crafting recipe, and the higher tiers build on the lower ones. After the Wooden Mob Farm, the next steps are the Stone Mob Farm, Iron Mob Farm, Golden Mob Farm, Diamond Mob Farm, Emerald Mob Farm, Inferno Mob Farm, and finally the Ultimate Mob Farm. Each tier is a separate block with its own shaped recipe, so check the recipe book for the exact layout before you commit materials.

Place your Wooden Mob Farm first and confirm it works before spending resources on the next tier. Keep the block in a loaded chunk so it keeps producing. When you are ready to upgrade, craft the next block in the chain and swap it in. The Lasso is the other item in the mod and is used alongside these blocks when you need to move mobs around.
