Using the Reforging Guide to Plan Your Progression

What the Reforging Guide Does

The Reforging Guide is the mod's in-game reference item. It tells you which items and blocks exist and how they connect, so you do not have to memorize every recipe. Keep one in your inventory or in a chest next to your crafting table.

Reading It Effectively

Open the Reforging Guide whenever you are about to craft something unfamiliar. It covers the full material list: Actinium, Astatine, Barium, Berkelium, Germanium, Graphite, Slimebronze, Tellurium, Thallium, and Yttrium, each with Ingot, Nugget, Block, and Gear forms where applicable. It also covers the raw materials Raw Barium, Raw Thallium, and Raw Yttrium and their storage blocks.

A Simple Progression Order

1. Mine ore and collect Raw Barium, Raw Thallium, and Raw Yttrium.

2. Smelt or blast them into Barium Ingot, Thallium Ingot, and Yttrium Ingot.

3. Use the Reforging Guide to find the recipes for Actinium, Astatine, Berkelium, Germanium, Tellurium, Graphite, and Slimebronze.

4. Craft Gears of whichever metal your next component requires.

5. Compress leftovers into Blocks and split ingots into Nuggets as needed.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Do not try to smelt Actinium, Astatine, Berkelium, Germanium, Tellurium, Graphite, or Slimebronze — those have no smelting or blasting recipe. Only Raw Barium, Raw Thallium, and Raw Yttrium are processed in a furnace or blast furnace. For everything else, follow the Reforging Guide and use a crafting table.
