Setting Up a Working Timer with the Timer Ward and Timer Ward Head

Pairing the Ward and Its Head

The Timer Ward is the block; the Timer Ward Head is its matching component. To get a functioning timer, place the Timer Ward block first, then bring the Timer Ward Head to it. The Head is crafted separately through its own shaped recipe, so make sure you have it in hand before you start placing anything.

Position the Ward where the timing should be centered. A flat, open area makes it easier to add the Timer Anchor and Timer Bonus afterward without obstruction.

Adding the Anchor and Bonus

With the Ward and Head in place, craft and add the Timer Anchor. The Anchor is what holds your timing in position — think of it as the fixed reference point for the setup. Then craft the Timer Bonus and add it to extend or reward the timing behavior you have built.

Work in this order: Timer Ward, Timer Ward Head, Timer Anchor, Timer Bonus. Each step uses a shaped crafting recipe, so keep your recipe book open and confirm each grid before crafting. If a step does not seem to take effect, break the block and replace it, then re-add the Head and Anchor. Keeping the four items together in one spot makes troubleshooting straightforward.
