How to Craft and Place the Timer Ward

Crafting the Timer Ward

The Timer Ward is the only placeable block in the mod, and it is the foundation for every other timer item you will build. It is produced through a shaped crafting recipe. Gather the ingredients shown in your recipe book entry for the Timer Ward, arrange them in the shaped pattern, and collect the finished block.

Once crafted, place the Timer Ward where you want your timing logic to live. Because it is a block, it can be broken and repositioned like any other placed block, so you can move it as your setup changes.

Using the Ward as a Base

Treat the Timer Ward as the anchor point of your build. Place it first, then craft the remaining timer items — the Timer Anchor, Timer Bonus, and Timer Ward Head — and position them relative to the Ward. All four registry items belong to the same system, so keeping them clustered around the Ward makes it easier to see what is affecting what.

If you are setting up for the first time, craft one Timer Ward, place it, and only then move on to the other three items. This keeps your inventory clean and lets you confirm the Ward is placed correctly before you commit more materials to the rest of the setup.
