Stop Bow Offhand Exploits and Use Ranged Weapons Fairly

Prevent Double Bow Stat Stacking

Previously, holding bows in both hands allowed players to gain stat bonuses twice. This data pack blocks that exploit so ranged weapons work fairly within the progression system.

Using Bows and Ranged Weapons Correctly

1. Equip your bow in your main hand only. Placing a bow in your offhand slot will no longer grant additional stats.

2. Use your offhand for utility instead—shields, tools, or other items that don't create stat exploits.

3. Upgrade your primary bow to increase its damage and other stats. You'll gain power through proper progression, not equipment duplication tricks.

4. Check other ranged weapons from mods like gun mods. The data pack adds proper tags for more ranged weapons, so guns and crossbows are also covered by this fair-play system.

5. Repair your ranged weapons using their designated materials. The data pack ensures all ranged weapons have proper repair recipes available.

This change keeps ranged combat balanced and prevents progression shortcuts. Your ranged weapon power comes from legitimate upgrades.
