Glowstone Fixtures: Lighting Your Base

Three Fixture Variants

The mod adds three decorative light blocks: Stone Glowstone Fixture, Quartz Glowstone Fixture, and Deepslate Glowstone Fixture. Each matches a different building material, so you can blend lighting into stone, quartz, or deepslate builds without an obvious seam.

Crafting the Fixtures

Each fixture is crafted from its matching base block plus glowstone-related ingredients. Stone Glowstone Fixture uses stone, Quartz Glowstone Fixture uses quartz, and Deepslate Glowstone Fixture uses deepslate. Check the Things Almanac for the exact shaped recipe for each variant.

Placing Them Well

Fixtures emit light and look best recessed into walls or set flush with floors. Because they match their base material, you can hide them in a stone corridor, a quartz hall, or a deepslate bunker and still get full lighting. Use them along ceilings in mineshafts to keep hostile mobs from spawning.

Combining with Other Blocks

The Diamond Pressure Plate is another mod block you can place nearby for redstone-triggered lighting setups. Pair fixtures with the Diamond Pressure Plate so walking into a room turns on your lights, or use them purely as decoration around a Gleaming Ore display. Keep a stack of each fixture variant on hand while building so you do not have to stop and craft mid-project.
