Building a Mobility Loadout: Socks, Shock Absorber, and Rabbit Foot Charm

Movement Items in the Mod

Three items improve how you move: Socks, Shock Absorber, and Rabbit Foot Charm. Socks reduce fall damage and speed up walking. Shock Absorber negates fall damage entirely when equipped. Rabbit Foot Charm grants a luck or jump-related bonus.

Crafting the Set

All three are crafted from common materials plus mod-specific components. Rabbit Foot Charm uses a rabbit's foot as its base ingredient. Socks and Shock Absorber use cloth-like and mechanical components respectively. Consult the Things Almanac for the exact shaped recipes, since each uses a different grid layout.

Combining with Other Gear

Pair this loadout with the Mining Glove for faster block breaking and the Arm Extender for longer reach. The Item Magnet complements the set by pulling in drops while you move quickly through caves. For emergency escapes, carry a Recall Potion so you can teleport home if a fall or mob swarm goes wrong.

When to Use Each

• Socks: long surface treks and general exploration.
• Shock Absorber: cliff diving, ravine descents, and Nether travel.
• Rabbit Foot Charm: mining runs where you want extra luck on ore drops.
• Recall Potion: any time you are far from base and low on health.

Swap items based on the trip. The Almanac lists every recipe so you can craft replacements quickly if one is lost.
