How to Craft and Use Prismarine Rails

Crafting Prismarine Rails

Prismarine Rail is the base rail of the Prismarine family. Craft it from Prismarine and a metal ingot to produce a batch of rails, then place them like vanilla rails on the ground. Prismarine Powered Rail, Prismarine Detector Rail, and Prismarine Activator Rail are the powered, detector, and activator variants — craft each by combining the matching vanilla rail type with Prismarine so the whole set shares one material theme.

Building a Working Line

Lay Prismarine Rail for plain track. Swap in Prismarine Powered Rail wherever you need acceleration: place it, then feed it Redstone from a lever, button, or Redstone block. Use Prismarine Detector Rail where you want a Redstone signal emitted when a minecart passes, and Prismarine Activator Rail where you want to trigger minecart riders or TNT minecarts.

Because all four variants exist, you can build a full station out of one material. Run Prismarine Powered Rail on the approach, Prismarine Detector Rail at the stop point to trip lights or doors, and Prismarine Activator Rail on a side spur to eject riders. Prismarine Rail fills the gaps between them.

Crossover Rails

Prismarine Crossover Rail is the Prismarine-family crossover block. Place it where two tracks meet so a cart can be routed between lines. Pair it with Prismarine Powered Rail on both branches to keep speed through the junction.
