Customize Color Grading and Bloom Effects

Access Color and Bloom Settings

Open shader options via Esc → Shader Options. Look for sliders or toggles labeled Bloom, Color Grading, Saturation, Contrast, or Vibrance.

Adjust Bloom Intensity

Bloom adds a cinematic glow to bright areas like sunlit clouds, torches, and lava. Increase bloom to make these light sources feel more magical and atmospheric. Decrease it for a sharper, more realistic look. Moderate bloom works best for most players.

Fine-Tune Color Grading

Color grading shifts the overall tone of each biome. Increase saturation to make biome colors richer and more vibrant—deserts become warmer, forests deeper green. Adjust contrast to control how distinct light and shadow areas appear. Reduce these values for a more muted, naturalistic appearance.

Preview Across Biomes

Travel between different biomes—desert, forest, ocean, and nether—to see how your color settings affect each environment. Sunset and sunrise hours showcase color grading most dramatically. Fine-tune until the visual tone matches your preferred aesthetic.
