Milling Wheat Into Flour

Place a Mill and use it to process wheat into Flour. The Mill is the core processing block for turning grains and seeds into powders, so build one before starting any baking. Once you have Flour, combine it with water in a crafting grid to produce Dough. Dough is the base for several baked goods in the mod, so make it in batches.

Turning Dough Into Food

With Dough on hand you can craft Apple Pie, Cactus Pie, Melon Pie, and Sweet Berry Pie by combining Dough with the matching fruit or vegetable chunk. Apple Pie uses apples, Cactus Pie uses Cactus Chunk, Melon Pie uses Melon Chunk, and Sweet Berry Pie uses sweet berries. Each pie is a shapeless recipe, so the arrangement in the grid does not matter. Bake pies in a furnace if the recipe calls for smelting, or cook them on a campfire for campfire_cooking results. Keep a stack of Dough ready so you can convert any fruit you gather into a pie without returning to the Mill.
