Crafting and Using the Booflo Vest

Getting Booflo Hide

Booflo Hide is the core material for the Booflo Vest. It drops from Booflos, which you can spawn or encounter in the mod's End content using a Booflo Spawn Egg. Collect enough hide before you start crafting, since the vest consumes multiple pieces.

Assembling the Vest

Combine Booflo Hide into a Booflo Vest at a crafting table. The vest is worn in the chest slot and is the mod's main mobility item for End exploration.

Boof Blocks and Bouncing

Booflo Hide also feeds into Boof Block crafting. A Boof Block placed in the world acts as a bounce surface. When you have a Booflo Vest equipped, landing on a Boof Block launches you upward, letting you chain jumps across gaps or climb vertical terrain.

A Dispensed Boof Block is the version produced when a Boof Block is fired from a dispenser, so you can build automated bounce traps or launch pads. Place a dispenser loaded with Boof Blocks facing the direction you want to launch from, wire it to a button or pressure plate, and trigger it while wearing the vest.

Keep spare Booflo Hide on hand — replacing a lost vest or expanding your bounce course both eat through the material quickly.
