Troubleshoot Compatibility with Other Mods
Verify Iris Installation
The Cursed Shaders requires Iris to function. Confirm Iris is installed and up to date by checking your mods folder. If Iris is missing, the shader will not load at all.
Check for Conflicting Mods
Some mods that heavily modify rendering or lighting may conflict with shader packs:
- Mods that alter block textures or models can cause visual glitches.
- Mods that change lighting behavior may override shader effects.
- Resource packs with custom textures sometimes clash with the cursed aesthetic.
Test Isolation
If you experience crashes, missing textures, or broken visuals, temporarily disable other mods one at a time and reload. This identifies which mod is causing the conflict. Once found, either remove the conflicting mod or disable the shader.
Report Issues
If the shader works alone but breaks with a specific mod, document which mod causes the problem. This information helps identify genuine incompatibilities versus user configuration errors.
