How to Craft and Use the CraftBench and CraftFurnace

Building the CraftBench

Combine planks from any wood type to produce a CraftBench. Once placed, the CraftBench functions as your primary work surface for the mod's shaped and shapeless recipes, including the unblocked variants that ignore surrounding obstruction. Keep one near your storage barrels so you can process wood, fruit, and cloud materials without walking back and forth.

Upgrading to the CraftFurnace

Place a CraftBench and combine it with furnace materials to get a CraftFurnace. This block handles both crafting and smelting in one station, which matters because smelting recipes exist for the mod's processed materials. Use it to cook the outputs you gather from barrels and cloud blocks.

Cloud Variants

Once you have cloud materials, upgrade further into the Cloud CraftBench, Cloud CraftFurnace, Cloud Furnace, and Cloud Workbench. These are the top tier of your crafting progression. Build them in order: CraftBench, then CraftFurnace, then the cloud versions. The Cloud Workbench and Cloud CraftBench let you work with Dense Cloud and the talisman components without switching stations.

Practical Layout

Set your CraftFurnace beside your CraftBench. Route barrels of Apple, Banana, Cherry, and Coconut Planks nearby so you can pull wood straight into fence, door, and sign recipes. Keep Burnium Dust and Burnium Shard storage adjacent for later block work.
