Building with Concrete Columns, Capitals, and Edges

The Three Concrete Shapes

Concrete in this mod comes in three architectural pieces per color: Column, Column Capital, and Edge. The available colors are Black, Blue, Brown, and Cyan. That gives you Black Concrete Column, Black Concrete Column Capital, Black Concrete Edge, and the same trio for Blue, Brown, and Cyan.

How They Fit Together

Use the Column as the vertical shaft of a pillar. Cap it with the Column Capital to give the top a finished, wider profile. Use the Edge piece for corners, trim lines, and transitions between wall sections. Stacking Column blocks vertically and topping them with a Capital produces a clean classical pillar.

Planning a Build

Decide your color first, then count how many Columns tall your pillars will be. Each pillar needs one Capital at the top. Edges run along the base and along any horizontal band where two surfaces meet. Because all four colors share the same three shapes, you can mix colors across a structure — for example, Cyan Columns with Black Capitals and Brown Edges.

Crafting Order

Craft your Columns first since they consume the most blocks, then Capitals, then Edges. Keep the pieces sorted in separate barrels by color so you can grab them quickly while building. Place a CraftBench on site so you can convert leftover material into additional Edges without returning to base.
