Crafting the Nether Cake

The Nether Cake is a crafted block that takes you to the Nether when used. It is made with a shaped crafting recipe at a crafting table. Gather the Nether-themed ingredients required by the recipe and arrange them in the exact shaped pattern your recipe viewer shows to produce the Nether Cake block.

Using the Nether Cake

Place the Nether Cake on the ground and right-click it to travel to the Nether. Like the other TelePastries cakes, it works as a multi-use block: each right-click consumes one slice, so a single Nether Cake gives you several trips before it runs out. Once the last slice is eaten, the block is gone and you must craft another.

Practical Tips

• Set up a return route before you leave, because the Nether Cake only sends you there.
• Keep spare Nether Cake ingredients in a chest near your portal area for fast recrafting.
• If you travel to the Nether often, craft a small stock of Nether Cakes so you are never stranded without a way in.
