Crafting the End Cake

The End Cake is a crafted block that sends you to the End when used. Combine it at a crafting table using a shaped recipe. The recipe consumes an End Cake base along with End-themed ingredients; the exact grid is a shaped arrangement, so lay the ingredients out in the pattern shown in your recipe viewer (such as JEI) to produce one End Cake.

Using the End Cake

Place the End Cake down like any other block. Right-click it to travel to the End. Because it is a cake-style block, each use consumes a slice — a single End Cake provides multiple trips before it is used up. Craft several if you plan to return to the End repeatedly, since you will need a fresh cake once the last slice is gone.

Practical Tips

• Bring blocks and a way back, since the End Cake only handles the outbound trip.
• Keep a spare End Cake at your base so you can re-enter the End without recrafting from scratch.
• Store End Cake ingredients together so you can quickly craft replacements after a trip.
